Product Description Grantwood Technology presents the tuneband armband for the iPhone 1st Generation and the new 3G iPhone.
The silicone skin is secure, thick and protective and allows access to all the ports on the iPhone.
The tuneband has a comfortable stretchy Velcro band that fits both large and small arms. Also, the tuneband comes with a low tack peel screen protector.
Works well with the Sport ICE iPhone application from Grantwood Technology.

Works Exactly As Expected December 18, 2008 I'm currently training for a marathon and decided to try Grantwood's arm-band for long runs with my iPhone. So far the longest I've run is 19 miles and my iPhone has felt secure at all times. Its easy to put the phone into and out of the rubber skin. Also, I've been able to access all the buttons (power, volume, etc.) without any problems. Highly recommended.
Not worth it. Buy the Belkin product instead. December 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
ADDENDUM: Although I stand by my original product experience, the company (Grantwood) read the review and sent me a refund without me even asking for it. Needless to say, I was shocked by this level of customer service. If they make some modifications to the armband, it may be worth it. But regardless, I do have to say that the company itself is quite awesome.
I purchased this armband to use the iPhone when I workout (of course). The problem is that the product is poorly made. The rubber exterior doesn't even fit well on the iPhone. Plus, there are too many openings and sweat can easily get through the case and on the phone (which is not good).
After I realized this wasn't going to work, I purchased the Belkin product, and it works very well. It covers the phone completely, and I feel very comfortable working out with the phone in the Belkin case.
silicone skin covers up proximity sensors December 7, 2008 I've had this product for about 3 months and I'm now searching for a better iPhone protector. Here is why:
1) If the silicone skin isn't aligned perfectly, it covers up the proximity sensors on my iPhone. This means that when I'm talking on the phone the screen will come to life...I have hit the speaker, mute, and other buttons with my cheek. This is a major design flaw in my opinion and the biggest reason to not buy this product.
2) The screen protector is just a solid piece of clear plastic: no pre-cut holes for the home button or ear speaker. I had to take a knife and cut holes in it. My ear speaker hole is about 2mm off and it just looks cheap. There are also bubbles underneath the screen protector. Do yourself a favor and get a fitted screen protector.
3) The silicone is very grippy and it pulls my pocket out of my pants. This means my phone is very difficult to get in and out of my pocket, especially when I'm sitting down in my car and my iPhone rings. It also tends to hold lint and dust inside the cover next to the iPhone. I have to take it off and clean it out every few days.
4) The cover doesn't protect the bottom of the phone very well due to the big hole for the sync cable.
This is why I'm searching for another iPhone case. On the plus side this is an inexpensive cover with an armband, and I will probably just keep it for running and working out. For $12 you get what you pay for.
Nice, I even use it when I'm not at the Gym December 4, 2008 I ordered this band based on the reviews and I'm really glad I did, it is simple and practical; the band can be remove to use only the plastic case which makes it versatile, that way I don't need two cases this one does it all in and out of the gym.
Very nice.
Just what I was looking for November 23, 2008 Doesn't slide Down my arm or bounce around when I run and is good quality.
