Product Description Finally—A Pregnancy Book That Won't Put Men to Sleep My Boys Can Swim! tells real men everything they really want to know about pregnancy, such as: How much is it going to cost? Why does your wife primp before seeing her doctor when she hasn't put a stitch of make-up on for you in months? And, most important, what's it going to do to your sex life? This rollicking, laugh-out-loud book is for expectant dads in search of bottom-line pregnancy information, without all that boring touchy-feely stuff you find in those books written for women. Inside you'll discover helpful—and hilarious—information and insights on such topics as: The Maternity Wardrobe: "A key part of the maternity wardrobe is maternity underwear—parachute-like undies big enough to fit an NFL defensive lineman." Baby Names: "Don't give your kids mockable names like Thaddeus, which is Greek for 'I'm a dork and should be beaten up.'" The Birth: "No one told me it's normal that babies' heads can be misshapen at birth. I was convinced that my wife gave birth to Veldar, the conehead."

Hilarious and Informative August 6, 2010 G. Strom (jersey city, nj) This book is short, funny and informative all at once. It was perfect for my husband to read as a first time father. We've also given it as gifts to two of our expectant father friends.
Enjoyable read, will having you laughing. June 13, 2010 Jose L. Orozco (Portland, OR) I laughed out loud at least 5 times while reading this book. If you're like me & looking for a book to
lighten the mood, make sure to read this book cover to cover. Ian does a great job describing events and
dialogues with the most colorful language. He shares the stages/aspects of pregnancy through his own
story from his & his wife's perspective - but in a way to keep Men entertained and focused. Trust me
you'll learn several things, while you laugh your way along the book. The comics/illustrations kept me
going. ;) Finished the book in a matter of hours. I couldn't put it down.
My personal favorites:
*Comic on Page 22.
*Excerpt (favorite): "Don't expect more than two hours of sleep at one time. Do expect huge bags under
your eyes. They signal your entrance into the world's most exclusive club: fatherhood." Page 82.
Funny but too short May 7, 2010 N. Weil (Rockville, MD USA) We are trying to get pregnant, so after reading all the good reviews, I bought this book for my husband. The book is funny, but so tiny, it takes you less than an hour to read from cover to cover. As soon as you become interested in what the author is talking about, he jumps to the next subject. Very disappointing.
Great book for the expecting father! March 24, 2010 S. Riley (Chehalis, Wa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this for my fiance when we were expecting our first child. He was in Iraq so it was hard for him to really know what was going on. He knew I was pregnant but it didn't seem real to him until he got home. I sent him this book because it's made for guys and wrote by a guy. It's small enough that he could put it in his cargo pocket and take it with him on missions. He would read it when they were just waiting around being bored. It has a lot of jokes and the book is wrote truly from a man's perspective. My sister also ordered this book for her husband. He was home with her but this made him more aware of what might happen. Most men won't read pregnancy books but this one is just for men and keeps them turning the pages! Definitely recoommend to all expecting fathers!
Good reading! March 22, 2010 K. Barker (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband loved this book! We are expecting our first child and he really enjoyed reading and trying to understand what I am experiencing but from a "man's prospective". He said the book wasn't to long, funny and still informative.
