Anyone who who wants to know what happens behind the scenes in this country should purchase this book. Some of the things are scary and sad but must be told. Hopefully more people like Jesse Ventura will speak up and expose the true perpetrators of the atrocities that happen in this country. Lets all remember the great words in John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Great book. Jesse brings up some interesting things. He has done the research and come to his own conclusions that seem right on. He gives other reading suggestions as well as where he got his information. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in any of our historical tragedies.
Astounding and beyond Conspiracy August 18, 2010

I picked up this book thinking it would be a regular conspiracy theory book, amazed it turned out to be such a great read. It did contain know conspiracy theories like JFK assassination etc, even those had been written with a different angle and with some completely new material. What is more interesting is the introduction of a completely new set to the mainstream like the Lincoln's assassination; I had never known that Booth was not the only person involved or that there was another plot to over throw FDR during great depression. Besides all the above what keeps the interest in the book going is the analysis of current events like the financial melt down and changes to current laws, introduction to newer bills that threaten the privacy of individuals. This book is not just for people who are interested in conspiracy theories but any body who want to know a different angle to what's going on in today's world, while every one might not agree or believe in all or any of the theories this certainly helps to understand things much better if you are open to different ideas. This book is just that, it doesn't over indulge in conspiracy but tries to give an over all picture, gives some very interesting facts not theories that make up some of these topics. The author uses simple verbiage, with out provocative and common rhetoric normally associated with this subject. An amazing, interesting and truly a must read for any person interested in facts that go behind the theories.

Every American should read this book. Don't let the word "conspiracy" keep you from reading the book. Be willing to read it with an open mind and ask questions. You will be amazed at what you will discover!

Ventura is a character. I stopped reading at page 46 after he said Che Guevara was one of his heroes, you know Che, the international terrorist and mass murderer.
"Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!"

I think Jesse the Body has been slammed on his head too many times.
