5 out of 5 stars A Mom must have   January 8, 2009
This is my second Mom's Plan-it plus calendar. It is a must have for any busy mom. I have 2 busy girls and a busy schedule myself. The lines for each family member are great and my girls like adding the stickers to special days. I recommend this to any mom.

5 out of 5 stars Great Family Calendar   January 6, 2009
I love this calendar! The 2009 Calendar is my second time using this handy item. It's the first one that my husband actually checks his schedule on. It's got places for up to 5 family members and additional space to write misc phone numbers (for both parents & kids) and other information in the back. The only draw back for me is that it's a 17 month calendar, starting in August. This was great when I first bought it and needed the earlier months, but as a repeat customer, the earlier months aren't needed and are kind of a waste. I wish they also had an alternate 12 month calendar for repeat customers to use. BUT... until they do, I will continue to getthe 17 month one. I love it!

2 out of 5 stars Very small spaces, and still smells.   January 3, 2009
I don't really care for this calendar. My two biggest complaints are the spaces for writing are small, and it STILL smells very chemically after hanging for 2 weeks. If you have older children with active schedules, the family names section on the left can be useful, but you are then limited to one line per activity--hope you have clear, small writing! Lastly, the pocket at the bottom of the calendar isn't very large/sturdy, so I can't put different colored pens/markers in it.

Two pluses are the plastic clip for holding past months' pages up, and there is a large variety of stickers to use, which my son loves.

I've been using the "More Time Moms Family Organizer" for years, and prefer it over this calendar. It has plenty of space to write, the background isn't as busy as this calendar so it's easier to glance at for a quick reminder, and the pocket is large enough to hold additional stickers, a couple pens/markers, and post-its/important notes.

5 out of 5 stars The BEST Family Calendar Ever!   December 30, 2008
Considering that this is the 4th or 5th year I have bought this calendar, I am a complete convert. Although I could do without the stickers, the individual lines for each family member work out great. For a family of 4-5 you have 1 line per person per day. I also use one line to create a menu for the month. It simplifies grocery shopping and reduces what we spend. More importantly, there are no questions about what we are having for dinner. I keep old versions in case I get in a menu rut. If you have a family, I would really recommend buying it!

3 out of 5 stars Not for Homeschooling Families   December 20, 2008
The calendar delivers everything promised. But evenso, I have two complaints. First off, if your kids go to school, there are tons of stickers for you. If you homeschool there are tons of stickers NOT for you. This isn't the product's fault, I guess most families go to school.
Secondly, you have to write every person's name for every week. Call me lazy, but with 6 people times 4-5 weeks/month times 15 months is more than I wanted to do. I solved the problem by making a sticker with everyone's name vertically on it to fit exactly inside the space and printing the number I needed on my laser jet. This took about 15 minutes to create and print. Okay, probably about the same it would have taken to write. But I'm allowed to prefer one method over the other.
In any event, it's cute, fun, and I've already seen my two teenagers checking their weekly events. I call that success!
