Product Description When a high-society party is crashed by a naked, knife-wielding, blood-covered man who "thinks" he might have killed someone, Eve Dallas must track down the crime, and the criminals. Everything points to Satanic ritual, but Eve doesn't believe in devil worship...

Norda Roberts as J.D. Robb December 28, 2008 I have every book the Ms.Roberts has written as J.D.Robb. Lt. Dallas is a smart savy woman who has alot of personal issues. The series started off with Eve as a murder cop who lived only for her job. Now she has progressed to having married the love of her life and just as importantly friends she never had.
There is not one of her stories that I haven't liked
classic Nora Roberts November 11, 2008 I love Nora Roberts and read everything she writes but I especially like her "In Death" series. I will admit that not all the classic characters were in the story line but I don't expect them to be in every story line. I liked how Eve dealt with organized religion since she isn't a religious person herself. It wasn't one of of the stories that an emotional read for me but it was still good.
A good story November 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A well written engaging story. It seemed a little short. I imagine that there's only so much you can do when writing part of an anthology but it seemed to end almost before it got started.
Where was Feeney and Mavis??????????????? November 8, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I enjoyed the book, however, there was no Feeney, Sommerset or Mavis and Leonardo. There is very, very limited Peabody and McNabb. I think these characters are a very important part of the "In Death" books.
Nora, Can we have these characters back??????????????
