Customer Reviews:
OK docking station November 23, 2008 This product is OK for older laptops, but can be replaced with a good USB Hub.
Docking station, good deal. October 25, 2008 I am very please with both the station and the price. It was shipped quickly and in good condition.
Save yourself some trouble and don't buy this. October 4, 2008 This item looks slick but when I got it home the trouble started. For one thing the cord is ridiculously short. It is like 18 inches or so. It SHOULD be like 4-6 feet at least. Secondly it doesnt come with with its own power cord so you have to use the one for your laptop. Now you dont have one for your laptop and need to buy another $95 power cord unless you want to swap them everytime and that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it. It also has a power button on it that doesnt seem to do anything. Whether it was on or off it didnt change the fact that the product flat didnt work. It wouldn't pass video to my desktop monitor nor did most of the USB perphrials work. The only thing that worked was the power and the headphone jack to my speakers. This product is seroiusly flawed even if it did work right. Don't waste your money.
... for the record I didnt buy this from Amazon. I bought it from Circuit City. It is going back there in a few hours.
