The difference between this machine and the Vitalizer or the Evergain is that it has only one speed-- and that was too fast for me. The ridges are also made of hard plastic, so they're less comfortable. If you're serious about Chi, I recommend spending more money.

I have always been curious about these machines and finally have the opportunity to experiment. After using the chi machine for 15 minutes I noticed increased vitality and better circulation. During use I found myself releasing those areas in the body that tend to energetically `hold on' and cause chronic tension/stress. This is a good option to have a chi machine at a lower cost, however keep in mind there is no alternative swing speed options, a rather loud timer, and no padding on the ankle rest. [...]
