Fabulous grinderJanuary 6, 2009 This grinder was a fantastic gift choice. The stone is of excellent quality and is very pleasing. The design is the key here: it matches the surface sizes of the mortar and the pestle to greatly increase the contact area where all the work is done. This results in faster, smoother grinding with better results. What an excellent product. We are delighted with it.
