Product Description
Chart your Basal Body Temperature and predict ovulation - your most fertile time of the month for conceiving a baby - with a specially designed digital BBT Thermometer. When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order to provide a more fertile environment for conception. By monitoring when this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes place in your cycle. Recording each day's basal body temperature with a BBT Thermometer will help you predict ovulation. The Fairhaven Health Digital Basal Thermometer provides temperature readings to 1/100th of a degree - perfect for fertility charting and predicting ovulation.

4 out of 5 stars Good thermometer - but take care not to get it wet!   December 25, 2008
Does the job, and the beeps and last temp recall are very handy features. I would have been thrilled to find exactly this thermometer with a backlight, but I can't seem to find one that doesn't also beep constantly while in use (rather than just to indicate readiness). The only other drawback is that it seems to be a bit delicate. If anything but the very tip gets wet, the display goes blank or partially blank, and it needs to be dried out before it will work properly again. I haven't found this to be the case with other thermometers.

2 out of 5 stars defective product   December 16, 2008
Product arrived promptly, but could only use it for a week because it had a rusty battery.

4 out of 5 stars Works Well but got it cheaper elsewhere   December 13, 2008
Been using it for 2 weeks. Works well. Would be nice if the face lite up but oh well. Also I saw it at walmart for 8.99.

3 out of 5 stars it is good , not more   December 12, 2008
I got this product 3 days after i submit the purchase , it worked fine only for 2 days then it stop working, I wrote an email to the seller, and after many emails and one week he send a new one , the new one is working fine . It does not have memory for you last reading , it keeps one reading , but not the last one, looks like the higher in history.

1 out of 5 stars Completely inaccurate and inconsistent   December 11, 2008

I have used this thermometer for months, and I have finally gotten to the point of buying another because this one is just completely inaccurate. Sometimes when I have gotten a surprising reading (too high or too low for that day), I have taken my temp again right after, and each consecutive taking of temp has yielded dramatically different results. Just this morning I had a 98.08, and 98.22, and a 98.40 within seconds of one another. I have seen this inconsistency many times. I needed this thermometer for ovulation tracking, and with that kind of variance, it is anything but reliable.
