 A durable and easy to use bike pump. Well worth the money. January 31, 2010

I bought this pump 5 years ago and it's still going strong. Before that, I went through 3 other bike pumps, all of which were cheaper in cost. I had so many problems with these cheap pumps (nozzle wouldn't fit properly, plastic pieces breaking off, etc.) that I finally decided to try the Joe Blow Pro, despite the price.
Since then, I've regularly used the pump on schrader and presta bike tube valves, and I even use it to pump up my car tires. After all this use I have not noticed any decrease in the quality of pumpage.
When it comes to bike products, the adage, "You get what you pay for," is totally true. This applies to the Joe Blow Pro, which, incidentally, is made in the USA. I high recommend it.

After several years my JoeBlow Pro's gauge stopped working. I thought I'd just get another pump. I tried an SKS Rennkompressor that I disliked so much I sent it back. After reading reviews and noting what problems people had with some of the other brands' pump heads I decided maybe I should stick with the JoeBlow Pro. I called Todson which handles service/support for Topeak in the US (see the Topeak website for the phone number). At Todson a very nice representative arranged to send me a new gauge for $8.95 plus shipping $2.95. It wasn't too hard to replace the gauge (but it's stuck in there awfully tight) and now I have my great floor pump back! Topeak products are usually very good, but coupled with such great support they really move to the front of the pack for me.

I like the pressure gauge being at the top and easy to read. It has a movable dial with an arrow (mark) on the gauge that you can turn to indicate where you are looking to stop inflation at. The button on the side of the pressure gauge is easy to use and to let some air out to get the pressure exactly where you want it. The base is stable and holds the pump steady. The hook on the back was broken when I received mine, but it will hold the pump closed when not in use. I like this feature, because the pump won't extend when you pick it up to move it or travel with it in the car. The hose also hooks onto the base and again that the top so it isn't hanging out to get caught onto something.
Pros: Works well, features, looks great.
Cons: Price.

This is a great product. Seller was quick to ship and honest in the product description. I'm enjoying the pump alot. Works great.

I have gone through four pumps in the last ten years. I ride a fair amount and air my tires each time I ride. I purchased a Park Tool pump and thought it would be the last one I purchased...wrong. I can't get parts for it and the presta valve rubber has worn out, after less than a year. So off to the store I go to shop for another pump. I saw that the Topeak Joe Blow has gotten some pretty good reviews and thought, what the heck, I'll order one. Now that I have it to use, I was surprised how stout the product is. Heavy and purdy, now that is a combination. A work of art too. This one should last for a while.
