Product Description A swivel peeler & paring knife / Soft, comfortable, non-slip, Good Grips handle / Stainless Steel / Dishwasher Safe / Color - Black
Amazon.com Review For peeling a Granny Smith apple or a fruit with a tougher skin, the swivel peeler by Oxo is an essential tool. Its rotating, flexible stainless steel blades contour to almost any surface. It's got an oversize handle opening for hanging storage, and its built-in potato eye remover lets you carve out blemishes without digging. The blade size and excellent handle make the paring knife equally essential. With a sharp, tapered stainless-steel blade, it's designed for smaller jobs, slicing through fruits and paring vegetables with ease. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

OK peeler, junk parer December 5, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Both of these items seem "cheap" and not up to OXO quality. The peeler is just passable but the parer was not only dull right out of the package, but immediately rusted and discolored. Not only that, an email to OXO regarding their "satisfaction guarantee" has been unanswered for over a month! Dents my faith in OXO!
OXO August 27, 2007 These work as well as I expect from OXO. Good quality and easy to use.
Peeler/Parer Set October 22, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love the peeler, which is why I bought it to begin with, but the parer rusted the first time I put it in the dishwasher. The peeler did not. Although if you know anything about knives then you know that you aren't supposed wash them in the dishwasher. But I have done it for years, and it's almost like a test to see how great they actually are. They are both very sharp.
comfortably functional August 10, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The handles on both the items make them very comfortable to use; but one does have to get used to them. Initially, they seem a little bulky in the hand, but after some time, that is what makes them so comfortable. The peeler, especially, is way better than the other (routine) peelers I've had and it has a niftly tip that works well on potato-eyes. I use them almost everyday, and both have stayed sharp and without problems in the few weeks I've had them.
Good for smaller hands April 28, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After getting the paring knife as a wedding present, I fell in love with oxo's handles. For mother's day last year, I purchased this set for my mother and my mother-in-law. Both have small hands and greatly appreciated their ease of use.
