Amazon.com Review
Sturdy and durable, this commercial-weight cooling grid measures 16 by 20 inches so it can hold lots of cookies or other baked goods and is spacious enough to keep a turkey roaster off the countertop. It's coated in nonstick to release food easily and clean without scouring. The grid is dishwasher-safe and carries a 15-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

5 out of 5 stars Time to bake cookies...   December 17, 2005

This is much larger than it looks in the picture and that is why I love it. It is perfect for cooling cookies, a cake or just about anything you are baking that needs to be cooled down.

Since I usually sit at my dinning room table to ice cookies, I love the covered feet, they don't scratch or ruin my wooden table top.

Cleaning this nonstick cooling rack is a breeze. All you do is basically wash the grid with soapy water, rinse and you are done. It is so easy to clean.

Sometimes I put a few pieces of wax paper under the cooling rack and drip icing all over little petit fours. That can get a bit messy, but this rack can handle just about anything. What I love is that when I rinse it under hot water, all that icing just melts off very easily. On normal metal racks, it tends to just get glued on.

So, I think this "Cooling Grid" is just superior. Sometimes you find an item that you could not live without...this is just one more item to add to that list!

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful!   October 22, 2004

This is the best cooling rack I have ever seen. I have used it primarily for cookies, but it works great for other baked goods as well. Because of the small grid, nothing gets bent or broken. The size is perfect for putting many cookies on to cool without trying to squeeze them together. Clean up is a breeze. Just add a couple of recipes and this would make a very nice gift. I know I wouldn't want to be without it.

5 out of 5 stars Great non-stick grid, great price!   March 13, 2003

This cooling grid is just as nice as the "pricier" models!! My cakes and cookies did not stick to it, like they have on other non-stick grids I have owned. This grid is large. I have to let my food cool in the livingroom as the grid is too large to fit on my kitchen table or counter. The large size of the grid is a plus when I bake multiple items.

This product seemed pretty good. I admit I wasn't expecting it to last very long, but certainly more than 3 months! Despite handwashing it, it rusted -- in EVERY crevice and intersection, rendering it unusable as far as I was concerned. Plus 2 of the protective foot covers fell off within hours of having it. So I advice everyone to spend a little more and get a higher quality, stainless steel, cooling rack.
