Product Description The Eva Kettle symbolized the union of classic design and modern functionality. Uniquely curved ergonomic handle with silicone stay-cool grip makes pouring easy. 1.8 quart stainless steel tealkettle. Seam-free body has a wide base for rapid boiling. Cheerful whistle sounds when water boils. The Eva Kettle is the first teakettle designed by Eva Zeisel at the age of 99, exclusively for Chantal. Designed in collaboration with Heida Thurlow, Founder and President of Chantal, the Eva Kettle marries the talents of Thurlow's 30 years of expertise in teakettle technology and Zeisel's graceful and original design. As one of the most celebrated designers of the 20th and 21st centuries, Eva Zeisel's work can be found in permanent collections in museums around the world.

Eva Zeisel Chantal Teakettle October 21, 2008 The teakettle arrived as stated and was beautiful as is everything done by the artist Eva Zeisel. The burnished finish is gorgeous and very elegant. The slanted handle is just that extra touch of unique that is so Zeisel. The teakettle is not only amazing in form, its technology makes it functional as well.
Pretty good at the right price September 18, 2008 Had hoped the design would have a very cool handle and be "heat friendly". Reality is handle does get hot and the whiste spout must be removed with a cloth before pouring. That said, it is very pretty and well made. I paid $55.00 with shipping so I am happy.
Misrepresented product November 7, 2007 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, this Teakettle appears to only be available in enameled Red from Amazon, when I ordered it, it had been labeled brushed stainless steel. Amazon paid for an exchange and promptly sent me another red enameled teakettle. Needless to say they paid for the full return and now have labeled the kettle appropriately Red enamel. The picture misrepresents the description now as it indeed is still a brushed stainless steel kettle.
It looked nice, but I didn't take it out of the box.
