Product Description This ceramic stoneware pitcher is great for serving hot or cold drinks, or for creating a centerpiece in your dining room by adding your favorite flowers. Measuring 2-qt., this lovely pitcher is also wonderful for making iced tea - the stoneware easily accommodates temperature changes from ice cold to boiling. A welcome piece for any table!
Amazon.com Review You'll want to pour something festive from this colorful Le Creuset stoneware pitcher. Its porcelain enamel glaze is baked on at high heat, allowing it to go from the freezer to the microwave or even the oven (to 500 degrees F). Mix up a frosty batch of sangria or some steaming Irish coffee--either way, this pitcher's generous lip and handle makes pouring graceful and drip-free. What little cleanup remains is easily taken care of in the dishwasher. --Schuyler Ingle

Lovely, hefty but heavy! October 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a beautiful pitcher; it looks wonderful in my kitchen and even looks good with flowers in it. It keeps cold drinks nice and chilled for longer than my glass vase and provides the option of serving hot beverages since it is oven-safe.
No other pitcher I have can serve Sangria in the summer and Hot Bailey Coffee in the winter. It is nice to put hot mixed drinks in this that contain milk products since there is no lid mechanism to clog up or smell sour -- a problem with putting hot chocolate style drinks on our coffee carafe. The pitcher keeps the drinks hot for quite a while.
Be aware that, when full of liquid, this thing feels like it weighs a ton. I like that it is so sturdy, but you may want to think twice about giving this as a present to anyone who is elderly or someone with limited mobility. It could be difficult for them to lift and control, so if it is full of hot drinks that could pose a possible danger for burns, or in the very least a real potential mess.
I gave it 4 stars and not five for the following reasons: 1) Le Creuset is now made in Thailand, but the prices are still as high as if they are produced in France. 2) the spout could be better designed to provide a more drip-free pour.
All that said, I liked this pitcher so much that I bought 2 more so that I could have one on each table at holidays and parties.
I'm the odd girl out here.... August 15, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I seem to be the only one that really doesn't like this pitcher. Sure it's pretty, but when filled with liquid it is awkward to hold and is fairly heavy. Another thing that bugs me about this pitcher is that I always spill when pouring from it, I don't do this with my other pitcher so I can only guess it is the mouth shape of this one or maybe I just pick this pitcher up and my mind tells my hand: SPILL LIQUID NOW, could very well be the latter. So... I use it for flowers.
The Perfect Iced Tea Pitcher! December 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received my pitcher a little over a week ago. I can not believe how beautiful this pitcher is - it is a work of art. It looks absolutely stunning sitting on my kitchen counter. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about cracking when I pour boiling water in the pitcher - just perfect for iced tea. I will soon be buying another one and perhaps a couple for gifts. I could not be happier with my purchase.
Beautiful and classic October 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the cherry red one. It looks exactly the same as the picture. Very shiny and pretty. Yet as a pitcher, it is actually a bit heavy to use. It takes me a while to get used to its weight.

This is just a great, old fashion pitcher. Color is beautiful and I love the shape. It also looks great filled with flowers.
