This product is exactly what we have been searching for. Heavy Duty, Easy to clean,Comfortable Handles and Tight fitting lids. As with all Stainless Steel you must adjust you cooking method to a lower heat setting. As long as you keep that in mind you will love this cookware.As a matter of fact we loved it so much that we purchased every single piece of Multiclad Pro Stainless that Cuisinart makes. WE JUST LOVE IT!!

Cuisinart Multiclad is a superior line of cookware - I've been collecting pieces for a while now. I have no complaints about the double boiler (which rests comfortably in a variety of Cuisinart pots, and possibly others.) It works great, has a generous capacity and comfortable handle, and cleans up like a dream.
That said, it's really easy to make your own double boiler at home, using a heavy sauce pan plus a durable glass or steel mixing bowl that rests comfortably on top, never touching the boiling water underneath. If you have all of this equipment, you probably don't need to purchase this piece. If you decide you want a dedicated double boiler, then this is a fine choice.

Good product.
Effective double boiler - used for candies and chocolates so far.
I wondered how easily the stainless steel would clean up - but it does clean up very well and easily.
