Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars This is great if you use high temps in cooking - like "no knead bread"   September 14, 2008

My husband and I wanted to try the "no knead bread" recipe that so many people have raved about over the last few years but didn't want to risk ruining the black handle on our great LeCreuset pots. I found a store in New York City that sold these knobs (but even 18 months ago, they were more expensive than this new Amazon offer) so I bought some from them. Great product! At first, we saved the black knobs, thinking we might switch back, but we left these on our Le Creuset products - they're great!

PS Google "no knead bread" - or go to the New York Times webpage and look up the article, recipe, and video by Mark Bittman - it really is as easy (and delicious!) as they say it is!
