Product Description Now you can make your own waffles with the Presto FlipSide Belgian Waffle Maker. The professional-style rotating design bakes extra-thick Belgian waffles in minutes. The unique 180 flip design evenly spreads the batter for waffles with a crispy outside and fluffy, tender inside. You can make waffles as big as 7 inches with four easy to cut sections. And make sure your waffles come out unburned with the countdown timer and digital display, which tells you when baking time is up. Its dual function base, which locks in a vertical position, makes it easy to store. You never have to buy store-bought waffles again.

GREAT !!! November 23, 2008 Like many others posting here I can totally recommend this waffle maker. EXCELLENT !!! And very easy to use and cleanup too!
Regarding the battery issue on the digital display. These types of displays draw very tiny currents. Consider the watch you wear. Remember how tiny the battery is ? The battery (which is a very cheap one, unlike the expensive button battery in your watch) in the Presto maker is very very big compared to the watch battery. Now, think about how often you change the watch battery. You will easily get 5 times as much display time life on the bigger waffle maker battery. E.g., I expect the 25 cent waffle battery will easily last 5+ years (or its shelf life, which ever is shorter). This is a non-issue, really.
BEST Waffle Maker Ever! November 22, 2008 This is the best waffle maker I've ever used. I also have a Krups (uneven heating) and a 19th century cast-iron one that I refurbished, but this Presto is awesome. The built-in timer is so convenient, and it heats the waffle perfectly evenly on both sides. It also stores very well in its slim upright position.

Just a GREAT waffle maker November 20, 2008 I bought one for my wife in October 2008. She absolutely loves it...so does my daughter. They've had waffles for breakfast every day since. She mixes batter, 3 days worth at a time, using oatmeal as the base and throws in a few cranraisins. We've had family over and cooked them up a batch and they loved them - these are picky people too. I highly recommend this product....especially with the price at amazon.
working mother November 19, 2008 I've always loved Belgin waffles and this product makes Belgin waffles just like the restaurants. The waffle maker is easy to use and clean up is a snap.
Bought 6 so far November 17, 2008 Bought first in May,liked simple rugged design, with highest power offered, fixed baking temperature, tried it and worked fine, used Walmart Buttermilk Pancake Mix , sexed up with i egg per cup of mix, and used milk, used light spray oil seasoning prior to first waffle ,wiped excess oil with paper towel. Used time for 3 minutes as baking guide. Terrific waffles, Bought 2nd in June, had 2 going for large family gathering, used same recipe and fresh fruit topping and/or Maple syrup (warmed) as topping. Family raved over taste and quality, Meantime tested whipped egg whites alternative with Walmart Buttermilk mix several times, a winner for texture, and lightness, Topping checked included thinned Raspberry Jam as a warmed syrup, w & w/o fruit toppings. Bought 4 more for Family for Christmas. Checked almost every brand offered, most were cheaply made and had more hinges/handle locks, or spindly supports, plastic covered bases, or controls to be damaged to go wrong, or their power(wattage) was lower. Need folks to publicize their alternative proven recipes for our Presto Waffler's! Plan to try Cornbread mix waffles offered by a reviewer.
