Product Description Use with virtually any pot rack.
Amazon.com Review So you've been adding to your collection of high-quality professional pots and pans. Not only are your cabinets crowded, but you're tired of constantly bending over and rummaging through dark shelves. You need an overhead rack for your pans. Take a look at your kitchen, figure out the best place and shape for you--a semicircle against the wall? straight rack over the stove?--and then buy a pot hook for each of your shiny pans. Calphalon knows that the best pans are often the heaviest, so these pot hooks are made of thick metal that won't warp or bend--even when you hang your 12-inch stainless-steel skillet. They come in sets of two so you'll have an extra for that cute little saute pan you couldn't resist. --Dana Van Nest

calphlon knows what they're doing November 28, 2007 These hooks are what you need for any Calphon pot rack. you can get everyday hooks at your local hardware store for much less, but they will come flying off the rack everytime you want to retrive a pot. These hooks are desinged for the Calphon racks and they stay put!
They work for 20x56 oval rack June 12, 2005 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased the Calphalon 20x56 rack from CutleryAndMore because Amazon wouldn't match their lower price. I love the rack. These hooks fit it fine, but aren't exactly the same as the ones that came with the rack. I hesitated to buy hooks at Amazon because of the reviews saying they don't fit. I returned some of these hooks I got at a local BedBathBeyond because they did not fit. Looks like Amazon may have some new stock that fixed the problem.
July2005 update - I bought another set of these from Amazon, and one of the hooks was too small to fit on my rack. Looks like a manufacturing problem. Took me about 5min with a metal file to make it fit. I'd still buy them because I can't find anything else that works for this rack. If someone has come up with alternatives please post.
Poor quality control; poorly manufactured. March 29, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I recently installed a wall-mounted Calphalon pot rack, which I like a lot. Unfortunately, the two hooks I just ordered both fail to work properply with the potrack. One is simply too small to fit onto the rack; the other one fits on but is too large, and comes off when removing pans. Additionally, these hooks are either made from a different material and/or finsihed differently from the ones that shipped with pot rack originally.
Calphalon would be better off charging more money for hooks that actually work than continuing to ship these things. Whatever company Calphalon has contracted to make these things is doing a terrible job.
Wrong Shape for Calphalon Rack September 3, 2003 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased the 18x36 oval Calphalon rack from Amazon and have been very pleased with it. Amazon keeps suggesting I purchase additional hooks from Calphalon and I did -- only to discover that they were mis-shaped and didn't fit onto the rack. I am very disappointed in the lack of quality.
They are hooks... they hook January 30, 2003 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
They do what they hold themselves out to do. And considering how hard its been finding these items, who can complain?
