5 out of 5 stars Circulon Elite skillet is great   January 6, 2009
I purchased this skillet as a gift for my daughter. She was discouraged with skillets that advertised non-stick and then the coating came off in the food or after multiple washings. She has been very impressed with this skillet - it's big and deep and the "nonstick" works and seems to be very tough and a part of the pan, not just a coating.

5 out of 5 stars The nonstick is great!   December 9, 2008
I've used the skillet a few times now and every time it comes out great! I bought just the one to have with a stainless steel set but I think when I replace thoes I will try the Circulon nonsticks.

5 out of 5 stars Great Service!   November 25, 2008
You can't find Circulon products where I live. It was nice to find what I was looking for at such a great price! The item arrived in excellent condition and within a few days of ordering.

5 out of 5 stars Circulon Deep Skillet   November 24, 2008
This is a fantastic pan that holds a tremendous amount of food. I use it to brown 5 pounds of hamburger at one time. It is wonderful. My only complaint is that the skillet is very heavy and when combined with whatever food you have in the pan moving it becomes an issue. A handle on the other side of the pan would be awesome but all in all this pan is great. Easy clean up and the lid handle is insulated so it never gets hot to touch.

4 out of 5 stars Love it!   November 14, 2008
I've had this skillet about 3 months. {I got it to replace a similar Farberware one that I had loved. After 10 years, it suddenly went from non-stick to ever-stick.} I use this for one-dish meals, stir-fry, frying 2-5 lbs of ground beef to freeze, and many other things. I probably use it several times a week. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it could really use a helper handle. It works to use a pot holder on the lip opposite the handle to transfer the skillet from the stove to the table. But,if I need to transfer the contents into something else, it's better to use a measuring cup to transfer rather than trying to pour. It worked great tonight for making meatballs - no sticking at all. I am very happy with the finish. I am careful not to heat it dry - I either use a little bit of oil, or some water that I dump when I'm ready to use a nice hot skillet. At first, I was nervous about the glass lid, but I really like it after all. I shopped around for several months last summer before I decided on this skillet. I'm so glad I settled on this one!
