Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Some inventions were just so ingenious, they're making a comeback in today's kitchens, like this vintage-look Flour Wand. It's simple but so effective. Made of sturdy stainless steel, it's used for flouring rolling surfaces, tops of bread, pans and more. Simply dip the end of the wand in the flour and squeeze handles to gently and evenly sprinkle across your desired surface. Spring action keeps flour from falling out all at once. Fun and functional, it's a timeless tool that any baker can appreciate.

5 out of 5 stars Practice Practice Practice   July 4, 2008
Takes a few times of shaking to get the right motion, but eventually you learn how to adjust the amount of flour coming out. Easiest method I have found for dusting with flour.

Old fashioned device that still gets it done.

4 out of 5 stars it looks strange but it works well   March 26, 2008
It looks a little weird, but I bought it anyway because flour dusting a pan is a chore, and I had never seen any other gizmo specifically for this purpose. A little bit of flour goes a long way with this device. It spreads a a very fine mist/dusting of flour, of course on top of a pan coated with shortening or butter.
