1 out of 5 stars YUCKY SUCKY   February 17, 2008
I know the people who did score deserve credit and But where is the real soundtrack with the actual songs people sung in the movie, if anyone knows where to buy it, please advise

My purchase of this item probably reflects my own ignorance. I was looking for a specific song from the movie and it was not on the sound track.

5 out of 5 stars write your review based on the film composer...not "songs"   June 14, 2005

Maybe Hollywood needs to color code film "soundtracks" with "songs" from the film in RED and film "scores" in BLUE, because the intelligence of the cd buying public is just not geting it - You see, kids, movies generally have a film composer who is hired to "score" music for the movie - this also is generally INSTRUMENTAL music, and is NOT associated with the "pop" songs included. Often pop songs are added as "filler" to help sell the "soundtrack" in case the film falls on it's face. John Powell is a film composer, so rate the music "composed" for the film based on that criteria. GET IT?

I agree with a poster above. Is it that hard to read the track listing? Is this *OBVIOUSLY* not the cd that contains the music you *thought* was on the cd? In my opinion it's not that hard to tell. The orchestral score to this movie was well written and well performed. Rate this cd based on it's contents...not because you are mad at the music that isn't on it because you made a bad decision.

I watched the movie TWO WEEKS NOTICE on TV and really liked it. I especially liked the music. SO....I went online thinking I would order the soundtrack and have the neat songs I heard SUNG in the movie. Well...after checking out the contents of the "so called soundtrack", there is no way I would order this item. It may be "a" soundtrack to the movie, but I bet it is not "the" soundtrack most people are looking for. I would recommend you not spend your money on this item unless you are prepared to not get what you think you are getting.
