 Pop Princess with Powerful Pipes December 1, 2008
Somewhat formulaic pop album with no great surprises, only saved by Leona's pure musical prowess and simply beautiful voice. She is truly deserving of her win, with her voice she could be a star for decades to come,she could make a cornflakes jingle grammy worthy, but she needs better material.

What a fantastic voice! I loved, loved, loved the whole CD.
There was not one bad song on the whole CD. I am watching for her next one.

She sings very nice, although there are no changes at all througout the cd.... A couple of the songs are great, the rest of the disc, is just average.

its ok if you are in the mood for it. somewhat slow, a few upbeat songs.

I had to check Leona out because I had heard people say she is the greatest vocalist of our generation/decade. Luckily I didn't buy the CD to find out just how boring and dated this CD is.
It's almost as if Leona didn't even show up when the CD was recorded.
Leona is no Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Barbra or Kelly.
I would be surprised if any other tracks besides the first two make it on the radio.
