3 out of 5 stars Leaves me wishing for the awesome sound on 'Bring Yer Wellies'   November 11, 2008
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gaelic Storm. That said, this CD somehow just misses the mark for me and my husband. We're relatively new 'converts' - discovered them this summer at the Irish festival, and their performance was fabulous. After several listens and heartfelt attempts to love this CD, though, my husband and I mutually agreed that this time they fell short. Darcy's Donkey is fun, as are several other numbers, and the talent is still obvious. I guess I'm spoiled by the great songs on "Wellies" and their other albums. The 7-11 song is particularly, well, awful. I should say it with more diplomacy, but I'm an honest O'Reilly....Most everyone here seems pretty happy with this album so I'm sure I'll give it more listens. I remain a die-hard fan of GS, and I'll hang in there till the next time. "The Devil Down Below" and the Johnny Tarr songs have my full adoration!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Rolicking fun!   October 5, 2008
Another great CD from Gaelic Storm! Some great instrumentals and as usual, the lyrics tell great stories, especially the song about Russell Crowe!

5 out of 5 stars Gaelic storm does it again.   September 4, 2008
Great tunes and really funny lyrics on some of the songs. All the songs are good!

5 out of 5 stars delightful!   August 25, 2008
Yet another high-energy, delightful collection from Gaelic Storm. Their love of Irish music is so evident in their music, it's an instant mood-lifter just to listen! A good mix of traditional melodies and entertaining new ones.
