Great if you already love them, otherwise, this is an excellent intro October 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a collection of clips from the last 10 years of The Armstrong & Getty Show. If you already listen to the show, you may recognize a couple tracks, but I can just about guarantee you won't remember most of these. All of the proceeds of the mp3s goes to charity, so you can feel good about buying it.
I'd feel bad not telling you this though... Go to armstrongandgettyradio.com and you can catch podcasts of the show for the last 6 months or so.
Nothing better than this for your money September 19, 2008 I am proud to be one of several folks who have been called a "richard" by the show. this best of is worth it at twice the price. and any money made is for the children .
Great CD, Great Show, and Great Cause August 30, 2008 I'm a long time A&G listener, and have loved many of these clips over the years. Evan though I have many of them on podcast, I'm more than happy to buy this album because the profits go to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
For those who don't know, A&G are moderate conservatives (socially progressive on most counts, while being fiscally conservative) with a libertarian streak who host an amazingly funny talk show in northern california. Don't let that affect your purchase here though - this album is pure comedy gold, no matter what your political bent.
BEST RADIO SHOW EVER August 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Armstrong and Getty are the best radio show ever. I listened for 9 years in California, and now that I'm in Phoenix, I listen daily on their Podcast. You can't miss this CD with the best of their first 10 years! If you've never heard them, you'll enjoy this, and then be looking for them on iTunes.
These guys are intelligently hilarious August 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Armstrong and Getty are the best thing to happen to talk radio. Smart, funny, witty, they (almost) never fail to enlighten, brighten and enhance a persons life. They "entorm" (short for "entertain and inform" as they say) the listener, and have done so for ten years, in a way that no one has yet to duplicate. I've been listening for all ten years and hope to for another ten. Jack and Joe, thanks very much for your time!
