 Delivers Again October 16, 2008
A strong effort by John Doe, which I have come to expect. In some regards, John Doe reminds me of Paul Westerberg - an excellent songwriter who inexplicably never got the airplay or broad recognition that was earned.
It seems many other reviewers have described and praised the album, so I will not duplicate that effort. But I will say that this album has one of the best turns of phrases I have ever heard, viz.:
"We all get what we deserve. Unfortunately."
That is great stuff.

John Doe and Kathleen Edwards, together they really put the boot in this one.Getting lots of airplay on local college radio, and they deserve it. Good song!
