Miranda Lambert is finally being recognized for her talent. This CD is a testament to the power she has with such a strong voice, and personality. Miranda has the ability to sing those songs that just "hit home", and anyone living in the South totally understands "Dry Town", she just has the ability to put it into words... You go for it girl, and I'm glad to finally see you get the reviews you have long deserved!

This is one of those songs that truly makes a woman feel empowered!

It is not a song that you take literally, meaning, go out and shoot your lover with the nearest shotgun with a cigarette hanging out of your mouth! Instead it suggests that a woman does NOT have to be a victim of any sort; she can be strong and stand up for herself in any way necessary. In my opinion it says that women are not just made of "sugar and spice and everything nice"! There is much more depth and layers to each woman God created!

In much of Miranda's songs and lyrics, she has the ability to touch your soul while at the same time making you want to jump up and sing! A very talented artist that I personally can't wait to see what is coming next!

This is one of my favorites from this very gifted artist who writes and sings powerful songs that show women from all walks of life how they can be just a little bit stronger and independant while still being ALL woman!
