My favorite pregnancy book I've read! February 22, 2010 Stephanie L. Boles (Maine) I have read several of the highly recommended pregnancy books lately, but I found them all to have the same cut-and-dry (and slightly intimidating) facts and viewpoints. Belly laughs took a look at pregnancy from the layperson side, and actually gave me a lot more usable information than the encyclopedia-type books did. As an early-twenties mom, it gave me the info that I can't just find on google!
Don't read if you have Morning Sickness February 21, 2010 Ashley M. Green I was reading Belly Laughs while in the OB waiting room, during my first trimester. I was laughing and enjoying myself until a certain part detailing Jenny's discharge sent me on a mad dash for the bathroom. Point of the story: very funny book, unless you're experiencing morning sickness.
Hilarious February 17, 2010 Rebekah L. Fritzler (Omaha) I thought this book was hilarious! Jenny McCarthy does a great job of discussing all of the "unmentionable" pregnancy topics and kept me laughing throughout the book. It is easy and fun to read and a nice break from the more mundane pregnancy books out there.
Easy and Fun To Read! February 15, 2010 BecEG (Reno, NV) Its so good to have a fun and entertaining book to read amidst all the serious boring medical pregnancy books. Jenny McCarthy made me feel fortunate as she had every horrible pregnancy symptom possible. So I expected the worst and when my symptoms came up I felt I had it way easier than others. Jenny's descriptions of her pregnancy is hilarious.
a good laugh February 10, 2010 R. Maune I thought this book was quite entertaining. I plan to pass along my copy or buy one for any pregnant friend! It puts a comic spin on what I've been going through (and shows that it could be worse). I even got my husband to read it! Some parts made him laugh so hard he cried. I think he has a whole new respect for his pregnant wife! I would recommend this book to just about anyone with a sense of humor.
