It boasts a large screen and utilizes a CatEye® ClickTec interface that allows you to switch among 7 modes by simply pressing the bottom of the computer face. Your selected mode displays at the bottom of the screen, while your current speed appears at the top in huge, easy-to-read numerals.

The dual trip-distance functions keep track of intermediate or multi-day distances. For ease of use even on rough terrain, simply pressing the bottom of the screen toggles through the computer's modes. The selected mode displays at the bottom of the screen, while current speed appears at the top in large, easy-to-read numerals. An up/down arrow compares current speed to average speed. Other features include dual tire size, programmable odometer, pace arrow, automatic start/stop, and automatic power-saving mode. The computer runs on two CR2032 batteries (included), one for the head unit and the other for the sensor. Maximum wireless transmission distance is 27 inches. The computer's tool-free bracket mounts quickly on virtually any handlebar or stem. The tool-free sensor mounts easily to the fork. Cateye CC-RD300W was delivered quicly and works as promised in the website. I only regret that I did not realize it does not include "cadence" meter and that was probably my mistake. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

I recently installed the Cateye CC-RD 300W Strada Wireless bicycle computer on my Pugsley snowbike. Since I ride this bike in the snow, I am usually wearing gloves. It is easy for me to change the selection of features to read on the computer with my gloves on because to do so requires only pressure on the bottom of the computer to change features. There are no small buttons to push.

Pros:
-Simple to use
-Easy to set up
-Responds fast (with 0.1 mph increments)
Cons:
-Doesn't have cadence or heart rate... but that doesnt really matter to a beginner.
-A little pricey for what it does... but the wireless makes it so easy to set up.
This is the 3rd bike computer I tried, and its great!

I have used this product several times and am pleased with its performance: it does what I bought it to do. It is easy to use and tracks all the data I need. Because of its small size, it is a bit hard to read and the setup instructions could be more clear. But, it is relatively easy to install, if you take some time to study the instructions prior to installation. Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend, but not at its original price.

The only bicycle computer I've ever owned...my third one on three different bikes. All the functions you really need at a price significantly cheaper than bike shops and free shipping too. Easy install, durable, reliable. Have not heard a bad thing about this computer from anyone in the know. I will buy another soon.
