Not worth it! September 26, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
They taste great, BUT one bar gave me VERY bad stomach pains and diarhrea for several days. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was the bar for a week. I just thought I was sick. Do a google search and you'll find dozens of people with similar reactions.
Great! September 22, 2008 These make a great mid-day snack when combined with a piece of fruit. Not the best in terms of eliminating preservatives from your diet, but delicious. The only thing I would change is that they come in two packs - which means a lot of extra cardboard.
Great snack - 2 pts on weight watchers September 13, 2008 Great snack - only 2 pts on weight watchers. MUCH cheaper if purchased in 30/box at... er... big chain warehouse store. Too bad - I love subscribe and save for other things, but the other place is still like half of what it costs on Amazon, even with the 15% discount.
Choc/peanut Curves bars (also on subscribe and save) are also a good WW snack - 1 pt. Similar taste to this, smaller slightly less dense bar.
Better than a Granola Bar ... But Don't Go Overboard August 8, 2008 These things are awesome. If you weren't told they had fiber, you wouldn't know it. They taste just like junk food should - but they're good for you, and relatively healthy. Just don't eat the whole box in one sitting - they aren't kidding when they say each bar has 35% of your daily fiber allotment. If you eat two, you're at 70%, and since today's processed/fast-food culture makes us lucky to hit 50% RDA for fiber, you WILL experience gastro-intestinal upset. If you get the munchies, hit the chips, not the fiber bars.
Check ingredients first August 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This bar is very very sweet and contains many ingredients that I have tried so hard to stay away from for the past few years. Anyone interested in their health will find fibre in much more healthy foods. If the ingredient list had been provided, I probably would not have made the purchase in the first place.. duh
