5 out of 5 stars for softies   November 23, 2008
I have tried a number of these recycled varieties of TP. Most of them have been a rough experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product is the softest TP I have ever tried, recycled or not.

I like that. The softness does create one minor problem; when you start a new roll the paper tends to shred and does not separate very easily from the new roll. I'm still trying to get the hang of detaching the first tissues cleanly. This is a minor irritant however.

4 out of 5 stars Great toilet paper, but it does go a little fast.   November 12, 2008
I am very happy with this toilet paper. I read previous reviews, so I knew that it was not a toilet paper that had a long lasting roll. However, the reason I like it is that it is free of some of the chemicals that come in regular toilet paper. My daughter has some very bad chemical sensitivities, and other toilet papers don't work well for her. It doesn't have those little lint flakes like some brands, and its not really harsh and thin like some brands. It is not the softest toilet paper on the market, but I have found that most of the ones that claim to be soft have those little lint balls. If you want a really long lasting roll, this one isn't it, but it lasts a very long time for us because my daughter is the only one using it. We only go through a roll per week so it is really not expensive for us to buy. Anyway, I just think this one is great, and I personally like the softness of it, as it seems to me that its the perfect medium between soft and harsh.

3 out of 5 stars It's Okay but I wouldn't buy again   November 3, 2008

As much as I like Green Forest products this one is not the greatest. It IS much softer than Seventh Generation but the rolls are very small. My family of 5 probably goes through 2 rolls a day. If they could put more on each roll I'd be happy with it.

4 out of 5 stars My wife likes this better than Seventh Generation tp   October 27, 2008
It seems a bit softer, though like the Seventh Gen tp the amount on a roll is kinda low but the roll itself is a little wide so it doesn't fit perfectly on our funky Ikea rollers. I signed up for a subscription from Amazon so I don't have to constantly be hauling the stuff from supermarkets, though the subscription foo seems to have some weird browser dependency issues.

3 out of 5 stars Question - Plastic Packaging?   October 27, 2008
Question: Is this wrapped in plastic, or in white paper? (I can't really tell from the picture). I'm not going to buy recycled paper tissue, if it comes wrapped in plastic.
