Big Train Pancake mix August 20, 2008 I was diagnosed with high triglycerides. The Nutritionist told me that I had to drastically cut my carbs. I love pancakes, but was never able to find a low carb mix that I liked. Then I found Big Train Buttermilk Pancake Mix. I love it. So do all my friends. I serve it people who don't have any carb issues and they can't believe it's not "the real stuff". Big Train is the only pancake mix I buy now. I give it my highest recommendation.
low carb pan cake mix June 30, 2008 would not buy again. The product did not cook all the way. I tred it cookig with a high heat and a low heat. The only way I was able to have it done in the center was to make crepes.
Only way to go when you are watching hour carbs. February 29, 2008 This pancake and waffle mix does not taste exactly like traditional pancake mix. But, it is good and worth buying if you are watching your carbs. Just buy some Guar Gum, and make your own Maple Syrup, with no carbs, to go with it.
Pretty Good! April 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well, it's very low carb, so you can't expect it to be amazing, but it serves it's purpose. Gives me some pancakes when I can't normally eat them (on Atkins). I add a few frozen blueberries to mine. George Stella's pancake recipe tastes better, but these are more of a pancake consistancy.
